Today, I’m taking you back to California for Sarah Beth and David‘s wedding at the beautiful Homestead at Wilshire Ranch in Oak Glen, about an hour away from Los Angeles, in the beautiful San Bernardino Valley. The drive there is just speechless, the mountain is everywhere and absolutely breathtaking.
This gorgeous rustic venue full of lovely details was the most amazing place for this sweet couple to get married : tears of joy and tears of laughter, this day was everything but magical ! Sarah Beth and David started their day getting ready in two of the most adorable cottages with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. I love this moment when everyone is getting ready together, again it’s a time full of emotions, presents, hugs and happy moments. What a blessing it is for a photographer to be able to share such intimate yet special moments in people’s lives, even more as a French wedding photographer.
The couple wanted to have a First Look before the ceremony so we organized it in front of the bridal cottage and right when the bride came out, I was also drowning in my own tears because of the amount of emotion shared here ! There they were, about to say yes to each other a couple of minutes later…
Sarah Beth is originally from Missouri (where I was lucky to be an exchange student more than 10 years ago) and David came from Oregon. The two met in Los Angeles in an acting class, both of them carrying the dream to be famous actors (which will happen soon, I can feel it). They soon started their life together with their lovely dogs (Otis was part of the wedding party being the Best Dog) and fell in love more and more. Like everybody there on that special day, I want to say that these two were meant to be !!!
I wanted to thank the couple and their family for their trust and kindness to me.
